Accessibility Statement

Last reviewed August 28, 2026

Tan's Chinese Restaurant (“Tan's,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to providing people with disabilities access to the information and services presented through tanspullman.com (the “Site”).

This Statement describes the Site’s accessibility target, measures used in its design and maintenance, external limitations, and the process for requesting assistance or reporting a barrier.

1. Scope

This Statement applies to the public pages and features Tan's controls on the Site. It does not certify or control an external website, map service, browser, operating system, device, telephone carrier, relay provider, or assistive technology.

2. Accessibility target and status

Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at Level AA (“WCAG 2.2 AA”) is the Site’s design and maintenance target. The Site is not represented as independently certified or formally audited for complete conformance with every WCAG criterion.

Accessibility is an ongoing responsibility. A content change, temporary defect, external service, browser configuration, or particular combination of assistive technologies may affect access.

3. Measures used on the Site

Accessibility measures used in the Site include semantic page regions and headings, descriptive links and controls, keyboard-operable navigation, visible keyboard focus, a skip link, readable contrast in light and dark modes, text reflow and responsive layouts, and text alternatives where imagery communicates information.

The Site is designed so that core restaurant information is available as text and is not intentionally conveyed by color, motion, hover behavior, or imagery alone.

Testing may include source review, keyboard use, browser zoom and reflow checks, contrast review, automated checks, and manual examination of representative pages. Automated testing alone cannot establish accessibility for every visitor.

4. External services

Directions and map-attribution links may open Google Maps or OpenStreetMap. Tan's cannot guarantee the accessibility of an external service it does not control.

If an external page creates a barrier, call Tan's for the restaurant’s address, hours, directions information, or another reasonable method of obtaining the information.

5. Request assistance or report a barrier

If part of the Site prevents you from obtaining information or completing a task, call (509) 339-6303 and ask for help with website accessibility. You may call through a relay service.

If possible, identify:

  • The page or information involved.
  • What you were trying to do.
  • The barrier you encountered.
  • The format or communication method that would provide access.

You do not need to disclose a diagnosis, medical history, or proof of disability to report a website barrier or request the Site’s information in another reasonable format.

6. Alternative access and response

Tan's will make reasonable efforts to understand a reported barrier, provide the relevant restaurant information through an effective alternative when reasonably available, and correct a confirmed Site problem within its control.

An alternative may include providing menu, hours, location, or other Site information by telephone while a technical problem is evaluated.

7. Ongoing review

Accessibility is considered when Site structure, navigation, content, visual design, or interactive behavior changes. This Statement may be updated as the Site, applicable guidance, technology, or accessibility practices change.

This Statement describes a target and response process. It is not a warranty of uninterrupted access and does not limit any right or obligation that applicable law does not permit to be limited.

8. Contact

Accessibility questions, requests for Site information in another reasonable format, and barrier reports may be made by calling Tan's Chinese Restaurant at (509) 339-6303.
